Can Christmas happen without The Meet Market? Of course not! That is why our much-loved Christmas Meet Market returns brighter than ever, from Friday 8 to Sunday 17 December at the Old OSY Depot in Gazi, to kick off the most wonderful celebration of the year. Get ready for 10 consecutive days filled with shopping, music, drinks, food, activities and get-togethers in the city’s most festive setting!
Two different #LineUps
This year, we are proud to break every record by presenting more than 200 #MadeInGreece brands across the 10-day event. They include designers and producers you already know and love, alongside more than 50 fresh faces introducing our audience to new ideas and products for the first time. The first line-up of exhibitors will be presented from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 December, followed by a new group of talented exhibitors from Monday 11 to Sunday 17 December. In other words, two Christmas Meet Markets in one—and you do not have to choose. We invite you to both! Admission is free, so there is no reason to think twice.
Christmas in the city
Gathered beneath a vast industrial canopy in the heart of Athens, you will find something for everyone and everything you need for Christmas: beautifully designed clothing, distinctive accessories, handmade jewellery, unique home-decor objects, beauty and wellness products made from pure ingredients, packaged foods straight from the Greek land, carefully selected children’s items and much more.
If you get hungry, you will not need to go far. Inside the venue, you will find a wide variety of tempting street food from around the world—bao buns and burgers, pizza and noodles, filled tsoureki and sandos—served alongside Glühwein, Greek wine, excellent coffee, beers from small local breweries or our fantastic cocktails, all ready to bring you into the festive spirit even faster.
First a meet, then a market
Speaking of festive spirit and staying true to our motto, “First we meet, then we market”, the programme is about much more than shopping. Everything will unfold in a warm, sociable atmosphere: DJs will take turns throughout the event, while children can join completely free educational activities, from woodworking workshops, theatre performances and face painting to magic and acrobatic adventures. Naturally, we have not forgotten the “grown-up kids” either. The programme includes a mapping marathon by Médecins Sans Frontières, Drink & Draw for adults—every sip paired with a sketch, or the other way around—and workshops with special guest Madame Ginger.
